- The Aco-800™ is a water-soluble membrane-labelling dye that can be excited by a red laser (638 nm).
- When unbound in PBS, the dye remains non-aggregated and exhibits minimal fluorescence signal, effectively reducing false positive results.
- Its fluorescence occurs exclusively upon binding to biological membranes, ensuring high specificity.
